One of my day jobs consists of working on race cars from time to time. Anything from scrubbing wheel tubs to changing out motors and so on. I started work with my step dad when I was about 16 or 17. We originally just worked on any kind of hot rod, then when I graduated, we went to Florida and worked with fellow named Pat Musi.
From there, there have been many cars and lots of races on the NHRA circuit.
Here are a couple of pictures of a comp-eliminator car that we worked on this past summer and my step dad Jim Hayter actually tuned to set a few records last summer. Oh, and the dog is "Max" our guard dog. Although I think the only he guards is his food bowl.

We have two really cute little girls and we love to photograph them every chance we get. The hard part is catching them being still. They are constantly running and playing making it very hard to get a great picture. Once in a while they do sit still and we do get a cute little snapshot of them. They are girls and they do have fun being girls of course. They love to wear make-up, mom's of course and mom's shoes and mom's whatever else she is missing. Anyway hear are a few pictures of the dolls.

Remember the ice storm in Oklahoma that was a major problem this winter?
I was digging through some files on my computer and ran across some of them. They quickly reminded me of what a mess we Oklahomans had to deal with.

It took days of chainsawing and loads of limbs to get everything cleared up. I hope we don't have another one for awhile. Spring is finally coming around and I almost forgot about doing without electricity for a week.

Here are a few pictures of the aftermath. Some are at night with bulb exposures and others are just of simple things like ice encapsulated branches leaves and more.
